Exploring Language in " The Carabao English" by Sionil Jose

"The Carabao English" by Sionil Jose shows how complex it is in encompassing dialect in a Filipino setting. The article shows who has an interest and trying to learn English dialect met with mock and resistance from the individual. Sionil Jose was criticized for his "Carabao English" that it wasn't english enough. 
 "The Carabao English" revolve into the struggle to have interest to gain english raises questions about the accuracy to speak english fluently and the pressure to follow societal expectations.
